Cornerstone 3

Our Traumatized and
Addicted Nation

“We suffer in isolation. We heal in community. It’s all about feeling connected.” – GABOR MATÉ, MD

Silent Suffering

Join us in the Restoration of Mental, Physical,
Spiritual and Emotional Well-Being

For far too long, Americans have been subjected to a system that thrives on control, deception, and fear—inflicting deep, collective trauma upon millions. Bought-and-paid-for politicians and media outlets push propaganda that divides us, trapping us in cycles of anger and distrust. We are bombarded with toxic chemicals in our food, while a profit-driven medical system treats symptoms instead of addressing root causes. Corporate interests have captured our government, turning healthcare into a business of lifelong dependency rather than true healing. This relentless exploitation has left our nation physically, emotionally, and psychologically wounded.
To heal, we must first recognize the trauma we’ve endured—and break free from those who profit from it. The effects of trauma and chronic illness are deeply intertwined. Americans are not only exposed to toxic chemicals—we are also immersed in a toxic environment, led by those who manipulate, exploit, and betray us.
We live in a constant state of anxiety, conditioned to accept fear, division, and deception as normal. Just as alcoholism wreaks havoc on families, leaving lasting scars on all who endure it, our nation suffers under the rule of abusers who thrive on control. Those who have experienced life in an alcoholic or drug-addicted household will recognize the pattern—gaslighting, chaos, and cycles of harm disguised as care. Healing begins with recognizing the abuse and refusing to accept it any longer.
Living as we do in a corporate captured, work/slave society that serves the 1%, most people live in survival mode. This includes the pressures of debt. But surviving is not thriving. America is the richest country in the world and yet we are the sickest, most unhealthy, obese, depressed, anxious and addicted people in the world. Offering understanding, compassion, and helpful information about the impact of Trauma on our nation along with practical recovery tools, inspiring articles, guest speakers, videos, podcasts, books and helpful resources is an important way we can support our brothers and sisters on their journey toward reclaiming their power, health freedoms, hope and wellness without compromise.
Truth is what frees us. Love is the cure for every problem on Earth.
Together, as we help each other to heal and get free, we help liberate the world.
“The paradox of trauma is that it has both the power to destroy and the power to transform and resurrect.” — Peter A. Levine, Ph.D.
